“It
was a sudden destruction so easily forgotten after a quick and
responsible action.” This is the message so visible in the recent
move extended by brethren to ease the pain of believers in Dingalan,
Aurora at least 5 hours south of Manila and situated at the foot of
the Sierra Madre mountains.

Brother Vernon Manahan (Center), assessing the relocation area of the
brethren in Dingalan, Aurora as Pastor Fernando Antones and Brother
Nestor Espanola discuss about the speedy construction of the on-going
housing project. The said pastor could not contain his emotion
for
the quick response of the concerned local and foreign brethren about
their plight.

Beating
the sunset: Brother Ernie Villanueva for his final instruction before
sundown in their last visit to the brethren of Dingalan. The 10
families who were directly affected by the typhoon could sleep well
at night while waiting for their new homes to be completed.

The
day is not complete for Filipino children without candies. A man with
a Filipino heart like Brother Ernie knows it well. He
distributes candies minutes before heading back to Manila.
